Aurora

Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th of 1997 in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora sometimes stylized in uppercase in the form of AURORA is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015, and received great reviews from music blogs as well as the media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are two of her best-known songs. Katy Perry, who endorsed the tune Runaway from her side, also gave her the track a little more attention. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is when she discovered an old grand piano hidden in the attic. It was awe-inspiring to see the possibilities it offered. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes encouraged her to use music for the sake of personal development, and not as a way of earning a living or an interest. She began writing lyrics of her own. Alongside Bjork, she cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. When her mother told her that the songs she wrote were not meant to make her famous but instead to inspire individuals to recognize the importance of their work and influence in our world at large, she started performing them publicly. The mother of her child suggested that she perform her songs publicly in order to make people aware of the importance of their work and how they impact the world. The family did not be aware until 14. Aurora's success was never the goal of her. Aurora says she loves creating songs. Music to her is the most effective method of feeling anything.
